These Evora 40G brake discs provide maximum brake pad degassing and pad deglazing for use under higher temperature conditions than normal. Evora Grooved Brake Discs are manufactured in-house at Brake Depot Limited in Chesterfield using premium quality blanks, utilising a range of UK premium brands for example Brembo, Mintex, Pagid and EBC.
Our manufacturing is done on high precision CNC machining centres capable of working to a tolerance of just microns, each disc is slotted or drilled to exact specifications and we currently offer six different designs which are. The dimpled and grooved have the classic appearance of drilled and grooved but they don't suffer from the typical cracking associated with drilled and grooved, these are good for road use. The sport grooved brake discs have six slots each side, good for road use and track days with low wear to the pads, the swirl grooved also have six slots each side but the slow are much longer and with a larger radius, pad wear is marginal but they do have good degassing of pads, they also look really cool. The 40G discs are the daddy of degassing, best suited to harder pad compounds due to the increased wear they are also suitable for road and track use.Cross drilled brake discs have the maximum cooling ability owing to the huge amount of venting ports on the disc surface but as each disc is meticulously created in house using our CAD and CAM the vehicle application range is limited, we use the aid of CAD to ensure that each drilling keeps clear of the important vanes in the brake disc unlike some of our competitors.
